Kirtland Family Housing is zoned to the Albuquerque Public Schools and residents may choose between two elementary schools, Sandia Base Elementary and Wherry Elementary School (located on-base).

  • Airman's Attic
  • The Airman's Attic is a source of valuable assets for everyday life, free of charge to any active duty rank E-5 or below and... their dependants. We have everything from clothing, books, toys, electronics to small household items, as well as big items. The Attic is run and maintained by volunteers and all items provided to our patrons are donated. If you are interested in donating items we ask that you bring them by when we are open, especially large items as we have the man power and hand carts to help move them. We are always looking for volunteers, if you are interested please come by when we are open.

    Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-3:30, with a break for lunch from 12:00-1:30.
